Loving, wholesome relationships (of every variety) are like the weather: stormy one day and sunny the next. It’s imperative to plan ahead, so you don’t find yourself unprotected from either too much storm or too much sun.
How can you protect yourself?
You have to pack your umbrella of self love for the stormy days: and be sure to screen out excessive, over-the-top dependency on the sunny days before it blisters a good thing.
Love can be fickle, but if you’re blessed in patience and humility and compassionate enough to stand before it in awe, and see it through all phases of its development, you will rise in one heart with those you love—and this, my beloveds, is the nature of love.
