Blame Uncle Sam

Ugh.

Do you ever get into an argument with your husband, wife, or significant other by mistake? Neither of you meant for the conversation to escalate to the upper level of “I’m pissed and you suck,” but it does. Then, you’re both stunned into silence over the “you gotta be friggin’ kidding me” words that flew out of your mouth like the MOAB (Mother Of All Bombs) into Afghanistan.

This happened to me and my husband today.

The worst part about it? The silence continues.

I’m blaming our argument on the fact that tomorrow is tax day. Why not? There’s no sense in blaming each other. Take that Uncle Sam!

Oh well, tomorrow’s another day and another chance to make up and make amends.

Perfect relationship? It doesn’t exist, unless you accept imperfection as part of a perfect whole.
